Today we chat with Dr. Robert Segal, the urologist who treated the patient featured in the case study we are covering in our new four part series on the complex nature of erectile dysfunction.

Dr. Segal is a urologist in Maryland with Chesapeake Urology who treats many male sexual dysfunction conditions. He is fellowship-trained in male sexual medicine. He previously joined us for a podcast episode about E.D. and low testosterone.

As a quick recap, our podcast host, certified sex therapist Mark Goldberg, has found that too many men assume their erectile dysfunction is caused by either a physical or mental factor. In reality, many erectile dysfunction cases are complex with both mental and physical factors contributing to the erection problems.

To better explain this, we have launched an in-depth miniseries exploring a case study that illustrates how both physical and mental components factor into erection problems.
